Stay connected by recording and sharing your client and team meetings

The world is in social lockdown but the virtual offices are still buzzing. Now is a really important time to stay connected with your team and your clients. There’s a lot of tools that can support your virtual/video conferencing meetings such as Zoom, Skype, Microsoft Teams, GoToMeeting and WebEx. What you also need to start thinking about is recording those meetings, and then how you can best share those files.
Depending on which your country you’re in you may still be in the initial planning stage of working remotely with your team, or you may have already been operating that way for a few months. Regardless, it’s a key time for most service based businesses to be nurturing your teams, while also reviewing the services you can focus on delivering with the shift to no contact “businessing”.
Whether it’s team planning or business development meetings, the easiest way to keep everyone on the same page is to be recording these sessions, and then making them easily accessible. Nobody wants to waste time by having to keep relaying the same information to multiple team members, or having someone constantly taking minutes. You also want to make sure your clients are feeling the love and a great way to stay on their radar is to ensure they have access to key information.
We know video files means you need storage and fast connections, and some of the tools you might be using require your clients to have the same tools to share your files. We can help by providing the easy sharing option. Keep using whatever tools you’re using to have your virtual meetings, just start recording them. Then use a purpose built file sharing tool, like Digital Pigeon, to easily share the file with a branded landing page for clients. For your team sharing, upload the file and create a sharing link that you can add to your project management tool suchas Monday, Asana etc. That way all your team work is still accessed from the one tool. The biggest advantage is that your clients and team members can access the files regardless of their own system set ups, they just click the link, and you don’t have to keep managing file permissions on your existing file storage tool.
Along with your existing meetings moving online, you could also start developing some additional video content with service delivery overviews and ways of working videos as well. We are going to explore setting up customised, branded collaboration spaces in our next blog.
Don’t forget we also have a free 14 day trial for you to start easily sharing your video meeting files today.
