At Digital Pigeon we love a good drag and drop function, and we’re pretty sure you will too.
You can now upload files straight from your computer by using the drag and drop function. Use it to create a new upload or add the files into an existing upload.
Do you find you lose track of what’s happening with your files? Who’s provided feedback? Who’s previewed what? In today’s world – there’s so much multi-tasking going on… it’s bound to happen!
To help, we’ve added blue notification badges to the Digital Pigeon interface. They keep count of files downloaded, files received, and comments added since you last viewed them.
We love chatting to our customers about how they use Digital Pigeon and everyone’s use is a little bit different. Big Mouth Media, an eLearning narration company is no exception. We talked with their owner and voice over artist, Paul Seidel about why they made the switch from three tools to just using Digital Pigeon.
For those of you have been using Digital Pigeon for a while now, you will have noticed we are nicely integrated with Dropbox.
The way we see it, Dropbox is great for file storage (particularly for our types of clients who have huge amounts of data!) but it’s “light on” when it comes to file sharing, feedback, your own custom branding, etc.
We’ve recently made a few updates to Digital Pigeon that should make your life a little easier. After all, this new feature is one of the most requested features we’ve had in the last little while! You can now create a new folder or rename files and folders from directly within an upload. This means you can modify folders from the dashboard, rather than separately on your computer. It also eliminates the need to re-upload all your files and resend the link.
If you’re a high volume user or you have lots of different clients, it’s easy to get quickly disorganised and feel chaotic! Even with search functionality, finding that upload that you have been asked to resend to a client can be like trying to find that cheeky little needle.
To help keep track of your uploads, we’ve introduced a tagging feature, available to all Freelancer, Professional and Business users on current plans. (Those on “grandfathered” plans are advised to switch to a current plan.
Did you know that your clients can now take advantage of a full screen viewing mode on the file delivery page? It’s a little addition we’ve made to afford an even more distraction-free viewing experience for your clients. It also works particularly well when you’ve sent them a large number of files by allowing them
With Digital Pigeon, you get fantastic insights into what your clients have done with the files you’ve sent them. For example, you can see when your client has received what you’ve sent them and, more importantly, exactly how many times a particular file has been viewed/downloaded. However, we know that sometimes
Email overload has become an inevitable part of modern life. Unless we successfully tame our inboxes and manage our messages effectively, it’s something that can affect all of us from time to time. At Digital Pigeon, we understand that too many email notifications can be an unnecessary burden. That’s why we’ve developed
